Zovirax Cold Sore Cream is indicated for the treatment of Herpes simplex virus infections of the skin, lips and face (recurrent herpes labialis).
TheATC is should not be restarted if the patient is taking valaciclovir. Before undergoing any herpes labialis treatment, patient should be stable with no further complications. This medicine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (13 and below). This medicine should not be used in elderly patients, especially if the renal function is not within the normal range or in the last six months. The patient should be advised to seek medical advice before undergoing any treatment with this medicine.
Most side effects don't require any medical attention and disappear as the body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're looking for a different treatment.
This medicine should not be used in children and adolescents (13 and below). If you're the elderly, you may find it recommended to take other medicines besides aciclovir to alleviate your symptoms. See for further details.
